Cruising is one of my favorite ways to travel. But it can be hard to figure out the best things to do in each cruise port that your ship visits.

In some ports, you can have a fantastic time just walking around and exploring the city on your own. (We love doing that! Plus, it’s a lot easier on the budget.)

But sometimes there’s not much to do near the port, and it’s best to take a tour or shore excursion. But how do you pick the best one without spending a lot of time going through all the reviews?

Sometimes you’ve already been to that port and want to try something new this time. Like riding a camel in Cabo, which I just did on my last Mexican Riviera cruise!
